The Holidays...and Hope

I know this holiday season will be busy-crazy-fun. It already has started. In our nest alone, we've been through 4 birthdays since September. That leaves one more -- lil' ol' me -- in December. My son's bday party is Saturday, and my daughter's baby naming is 3 days after Thanksgiving. We have family coming from out of town and I'm no where near having the house in the shape I would like. Oh, well.

I hope I remain calm, cool and collected over the coming months, and not react under stress with my kids. I hope my hubby gets a job soon, (and has a short commute). I hope I have the willpower to eat all of the wonderful holiday treats in moderation this season, and lose some of that baby weight once and for all! I hope I get a massage for my birthday! I hope for peace in the Middle East.

Here I am Again

I went on with life and forgot all about this blog! Time sure flies. I now just celebrated my 9th wedding anniversary, and am now the mother of THREE! Beautiful J.J. was born 11 months ago and is a wonderful addition to our family. It has been a rough, sometimes stressful year living with a newborn and two kids under the age of 5. But now that J.J. is getting older, it's much more manageable, and we're getting to do many more fun things again.

We're heading back to Atlanta for a visit next week. We can't wait, it has been 2 years since our last visit and I'm looking forward to seeing old friends.
